Kate qualified as a Podiatrist in 2005 with a first class honours degree from the University of Southampton. She has ten years experience of working in the NHS, providing podiatric care in community and hospital settings. During this time Kate has developed a keen interest in biomechanics, nail surgery, wound care and the Diabetic Foot.
Kate is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of podiatric conditions such as thickened nails, corns and callus, cracked heels, fungal nails, athlete’s foot, ingrown toenails, heel pain, bunions and metatarsalgia. She understands how to shape a management plan according to the individual’s needs, and caters for people with long term conditions such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and dementia.
Kate is committed to a programme of continual professional development. This allows her to provide the most effective and current evidence based treatment.
Kate is currently the Chair for the Coventry & Warwickshire branch of Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
