This includes completion of a Medical History questionnaire and a full assessment of the sensation and circulation in your feet. The circulation (vascular) tests include listening to the quality of the arteries supplying the feet using the Doppler ultrasound. Sensation (neurological) tests include testing pressure and vibration perception.
The results of the neurovascular assessments establish the risk status of your feet and therefore will help shape the most appropriate treatment and management plan.
These tests fulfil the examinations required for Diabetics, as per NICE guidelines (CG10).
